Earlier this evening I was watching an episode of the original Mission Impossible show on the tube. I had always thought that Barbara Bain, who played Cinnamon Carter, a member of the Impossible Missions (IM) Force, was pretty good looking - for an 'older woman', since she looked to be in her mid-thirties at the time the show was taped.
I know this was an episode from the first season (1966) of Mission Impossible, since the IMF leader was named Dan Briggs. Peter Phelps led the team for the remaining years it was on the air (Thanks in no small part to the Intertubes and Wikipedia for that level of detail. Just what the hell did we do before the Intertubes were available?).
As I watched Cinnamon and the other cast members of the show acting out their scenes, it struck me. She was pretty good looking way back then... only something is very different now.
Now, to me, Cinnamon Carter looks young enough to be my daughter. Why... Why, it's enough to make you want to self-destruct in five seconds.

Not very good, but that's all that is available right now.
