Pool House Has a Full-Time Resident

Just this afternoon, after guiding a truck in to dump a load of rock for our back BBQ/patio project, I noticed we have a new full-time resident.
Our New Pool House Resident
It's one of the doves that are always hanging around our place and cooing up a storm. They're not the sharpest tacks in the box, if you know what I mean. They do seem to spend a lot of time on the ground under bushes, just what Secret loves. I've caught her a couple of times with feathers sticking out of her mouth, so I suspect she's been doing some unauthorized snacking. She won't get this one as she's built her nest above one of the A/C units on the back of the pool house.

We'll keep an eye on the progress of the family.

  1. There you go... it pays to deal with good, honest people. Works most every time -- and I'm glad to say that there are still some of them out there. Glad to see you have some in Corozal too!

  2. What, no brick laid for your BBQ and patio area?

  3. Hi Julian,

I've actually had very good experiences in Corozal with honesty. I can't say I've ever been fleeced the way some tourist towns in other countries seem to think is the proper way to deal with tourists. Most folks here are extremely honest.

    Cheers,
    Dave

    Hi Jeanette,

Not yet. Well, not brick for the BBQ, but there will be pavers and an alcove in stone for the BBQ. Photos of the progress on this particular project will be forthcoming.

    Cheers,
    Dave

Not very good, but that's all that is available right now.
