What do you do when it rains? And rains buckets at once. If you're caught outside and getting wet is never an issue, well, why not make the most of it? Grab your playmate and romp and roll around in the puddles, jump in them, and run through them. Now, that's what you do when it rains - at least is was this morning, if you're Cindy and Secret, our two erstwhile watch dogs. It's not all work and no play. Nosiree!

| New Rain Means - Playtime! |
And since they're both afraid of thunder and lightning, they usually seek refuge in the house with us. Guess who all ain't coming in till they get a bath? Sorry girls.
We finally took delivery of a couple of items I had
Vasco Doors and Windows make. A new door or lid for our trash bin, and a new water bottle storage rack for our 5-gallon water bottles.

I still have a bit of work to do on it. I have to complete drilling four mounting holes for lag screws and plugs to anchor it to the trash bin walls. It should work admirably.
Here's our water bottle holder. It holds six 5-gallon bottles. The partial-looking bottle at the top is the reservoir and tap to use the bottles. You just tip the full water bottle upside down, placing it in the reservoir so you don't spill water all over. Then use the tap to fill glasses, kettles, etc.

We have it in the "basement" as it's only for emergency use. In case the well pump should fail, we'll have drinking water for at least a few days. A neat and tidy installation.
