It's unfortunate that you find the blog to have become something less than what we intended - that is a chronicle of our Belizean adventure.
By the way, what part of the "gossip" was in error?

DaveDave Riderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15038109966699072504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9432310.post-14927549952271973652008-11-21T11:02:00.000-06:002008-11-21T11:02:00.000-06:00We are all saddened at the lost of someones best f...We are all saddened at the lost of someones best friend, but this has gone to far. Up to this point, your blog have given us great pleasure. I happen to be a good buddy of Buster's. As a frequent visitor to his home I have seen and followed the rules that he has been under as far as outings. As far as I have been told, he and the rest of his group have been immediately confined to a new fenced compound. His owners, who are quite the opposite to the heartless villans you make them out to be, have had their best friend attacked and in the second attack killed by a neighbours dog as well as losing another to poisoning. I think it's time you turned your blog back to what it was, instead of a brainless gossip column. I know they may be in denile and defensive but its worth a try. They can then build a dog run or something to keep Buster from attacking people. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you do, it really works well. Screws things up if tourists don't do it as you can imagine.
DaveDave Riderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15038109966699072504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9432310.post-47551070266485187382008-11-20T07:51:00.000-06:002008-11-20T07:51:00.000-06:00You know what's really bad. Boy, that's not good - the not willing to say (admit) how old I am!

Oh well, I added your info to my "Notes about Corozal" -- which I really, really, really intend to read again on the flight down. That's along with the one on "Tips on Driving in Belize". The last one is a real hoot -- especially "how to turn left by moving way over to the right and letting everyone go by first" ... is this one actually for real??Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9432310.post-53275233353477895552008-11-20T06:38:00.000-06:002008-11-20T06:38:00.000-06:00Wow, that is just awful. I've corrected the posting. I honestly don't know. It sort of depends on what Jim and Melanie want to do and, of course, how much political pull they can muster.

Otherwise, the real Almond Drive is a nice walk. There are a couple of dogs (owned by a Gringo) that do come out barking, but no bite.

The rest of town is great for walking, once you know the areas of town (e.g., avoiding "Skeleton Town" anytime on foot is probably a good idea). But until you get here, and learn the lay of the land. You know how it goes.

Hey, I'm almost 60 (I'll be 59 in Jan), I forget stuff all the time. Will try to remember not to walk down Almond Drive (of course, being 60 I tend to forget stuff now days) when we come down.

Do you expect any action by the local authorities??

JulianAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
