I've heard some of the newer ones go to 12 - impedance be damned! Just don't stand in front of any of the speakers. It's dangerous to be around when one of them loses a speaker magnet.<BR/>Y'know the Discovery Channel ad where the roof is blown off? The church I attend there always turns the sound up to distortion levels.
