Maybe an addendum some time, who knows?
I don't know why it took me so long to put this post together. I think I was still adjusting to how much our lives have changed as a result. Who knows? anyway, it was very much a cathartic exercise for me. Thanks again.

Cheers,
DaveWinjamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17967737778334776604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9432310.post-22163877705597632202017-10-15T13:54:36.008-06:002017-10-15T13:54:36.008-06:00This is a great post for anyone who is researching...This is a great post for anyone who is researching a possible move to Belize to read.

It is whole different world of healthcare from the Canadian one I am used to. I think the thing that surprised me the most was the blood donation criteria. Those of us that qualify to be blood donors in Canada or probably the US, will
not necessarily qualify to donate in Belize. For example; My blood was not accepted because I was on BP medication. The age restriction for donation
is much lower here.
The ambulance service is similar to what Canada had in the 1970s; a speedy transportation service with a nurse with limited resources in attendance.

Lots of positives here too.

Vivienhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03881247148929687245noreply@blogger.com
