Some new and some old toys - more breakages to report; freeking aints are driving us to distraction; Redone RO system is working... That sort of stuff is what I'm working on.
Thank God we have a pool - That's our A/C. We're in it every day, and almost all day too. We're averaging mid-nineties temp and humidity. We use machetes to cut a path through the air just to walk.

Cheers,
Dave

Hi Beth,
I modified your comment so your email didn't get posted. I'll send along some info to your email. BTW, for those who want to contact us, so you don't have to expose your email to the world, there is a way to email us from the Blog without knowing our email address - look on the right-hand column where it says 'You Can Send Us Email' - just hit the link underneath that and fire away. I'll try to make that link more obvious.
Thanks for writing. I'm so glad you like the Blog.
I'm working on trying to make almost a thousand postings into some sort of book. We'll see how that goes.

Cheers,
Dave

Dave Riderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15038109966699072504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9432310.post-72852652436855639012014-07-16T01:47:59.240-06:002014-07-16T01:47:59.240-06:00Hi. Or worse yet -- you've forgotten all of us up here in Obamaland?

Seriously, hope there really isn't a problem and you're weathering your hot summer in the pool all day! It's hitting the high 90's most days up here in the Upstate!

JulianJRinSChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07221452682380379316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9432310.post-21749490092301071872014-07-04T02:57:51.254-06:002014-07-04T02:57:51.254-06:00Hi Julian,

We'll have to blame Billy for providing that.

Glad you liked the post. I learned some stuff too. For such dinky things, I never knew AA batteries could be so complicated.

Cheers,
DaveDave Riderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15038109966699072504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9432310.post-1301207067025579472014-07-03T20:40:42.435-06:002014-07-03T20:40:42.435-06:00You would have liked my sub. I remember that we ran a "trickle discharge" of 5 amps which was to prolonge the life of the battery. Thankfully we never had to rely on it in any serious way.

Good post -- I learned some stuff.

JulianJRinSChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07221452682380379316noreply@blogger.com
